HOMEWORK FOR THE FIRST WEEKEND (due Sept 13) !!!

1- Find an SSR. Bring your book in on Monday. (10 pts)

2- Choose 3 photos and 6-12 magazine clippings or google images that represent you- Cut the images/photos in interesting angles and glue them onto the surface of both the back and front of the notebook. I will give you a clear plastic sheet to cover it on Monday. (15 pts)

Suggestions: your favorite team logo, pictures that represent your hobbies, interests and dreams, photos of family and friends, etc

3- 6th Grade Only: Fill in the “Your Life” worksheet. (5 pts)

4- Label the tabs in your binder: (5pts) “Literature” “Writing” “Grammar” “Poetry”

5- There will be a quiz on Monday on the class policies packet so please review it over the weekend.

I WILL CHECK THESE ITEMS ON MONDAY!!!

REMEMBER, Vocabulary lessons are due on Tuesdays and the double unit test will be held every other Thursday. First lesson due on Tuesday, September 14.
