Happy Presidents Weekend Everyone! Yesterday I attended a seminar in NYC on Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation - the second most important United States document of all time! It was very inspiring to learn more about Lincoln's efforts to save the nation and purge it of the plague of slavery.

8th: Read Ch. 1-3 in TKAM. Fill in the character chart, making an attempt to fill in character traits for at least 4 characters introduced in the exposition of this novel.

8th grade: Your thesis statement is due tomorrow. Be sure to include the following information: Where is this taking place? What is the problem? Who or what is the negative force in this problem and how will is be solved?
