All students ---   DUE MONDAY:

1.  Decorate your marble journal with at least 2-3 photos and 6-12 images printed from the internet/magazines.  Clip your pix and glue them to the cover of your marble journal. (10 pts)

2.  Select an SSR for quarter one.  Every student must read one book per quarter in their free time.  You must bring an SSR to class everyday. (5 pts in class on Monday)

3.  Review all "Back to School" handouts from the English department.  Sign your English contract, and obtain your parent's signature on this form.  Bring the signed form to class on Monday. (5 pts)

4.  Review the Plagiarism contract and obtain parent signature.  (5 pts)

5. Label the dividers in your binder with Literature, Writing, Poetry and Grammar. 

Grade 6 only: list your likes and dislikes in reading and writing on the orange paper.
