6th: Complete the "My Life" worksheet
7th: Complete the "My Life" worksheet and reading survey
8th: Complete the "Grammar Rules" reading assignment. Read the article entitled "I Think, Therefore IM" ....Take notes on the article (use the Cornell Notes page), as you are reading. Write a two sentence summary of the article and fill it into the "Summary" section of the notes page.
All students --- DUE MONDAY:
1. Decorate your marble journal with at least 3 photos and 6-12 images printed from the internet/magazines. Clip your pix and glue them to the cover of your marble journal.
2. Select an SSR for quarter one. Every student must read one book per quarter in their free time. You must bring an SSR to class everyday.
3. Review all "Back to School" handouts from the English department. Sign your English contract, and obtain your parent's signature on this form. Bring the signed form to class on Monday.
