8th: Read "The Pit and the Pendulum", then fill in the plot diagram, identifying the stages of the plot on the worksheet.
7th: Write your "Individual's Responsibility to Society" essay (1 1/2 to 2 pages in length) Double space, 12 font, arial or NTR.  Please refer to the rubric while you are composing your essay.  You will be scored on the basis of how well you adhere to the directions provided in the rubric (see green instruction page)
6th:  Read Ch. 16-18 in "Freak the Mighty" and complete the odd # study guide questions.
