  • Read "PRODIGY" and complete the vocabulary log for 4  unfamiliar words from the text.  Be prepared for  pop quiz on the article.

    • Review Wax Museum white packet (Academic Vocabulary and terminology related to research, biography and autobiography)
    • Two study guides 
  • Wax Museum:
    • Bring in all sources daily! (Entire W.M. folder should be going back and forth between school and home)
    • Preliminary Works Cited page due Thurs. 1/16 (use the checklist and sample in pink packet as a guide; easybib.com is the tool we used for the demo in class- link to right; make sure to follow through after all sources are entered to print as a word document for proper format; use MLA7, include URL address)
    • Completed Notes due Wed., 1/22
6th Grade:

  • Greek Myth Story Writing: Final Draft (with clear revisions) due Thursday., 1/16
    • Attach final draft to top of first and second drafts (pink self-edit, yellow and brown peer edits, 2nd draft, tan peer edit, Pre-writing organizer from the packet, cover sheet.  Highlight sensory words from word lists and other types of sensory description in your myth)
  • Greek Heroes Book:
