I have wonderful classes this year!  You guys are off to a truly amazing start to the school year! Bravo!

All grades:

1-All signed forms! (10 points)
2- An SSR book (5 points)
3- Decorated Writer's Journal (15 points )

Grade 8: Write your own version of the poem "On Being 10", following the directions provided in class. Type it, single spaced. 

Grade 6: Read p. 16 in Scholastic Scope. There are two questions on the bottom of the page in the section "Writing Contest".  Type one paragraph for each question.  Each paragraph must be at least 60 words. Your answer must include details from the text. Use quotation marks to show the text evidence that you are using in your answer.
