  • Vocab Lesson 10 due Tuesday, November 18.  Vocab Test on 9/10 is Nov 20.

Kevin Pyle Workshop students: 

Think of a scene to introduce your character, setting and situation. Keep in mind what the reader needs to know in order to understand what happens next in the story.
At what point in the character's life does the story begin? Write a 150 word paragraph to explain your plan and begin the drawing phase as well. 

8th Grade:
  • see above. 
  • Complete both graphic organizer pre-writing charts for your poem "Force of Change' by Wednesday.  The final project is due on Friday, Nov 14 (all parts glued, mounted). 
  • Common Core Ready Lesson 17 is Due Monday, November 17. 

7th Grade: 
  • See above for all classes
  • Complete the last 2 pages of the Eleanor Roosevelt packet (pp. 34-35) by Wed., Nov 12.

6th Grade: 
  • Type three paragraphs (75 words each), due Wed., Nov 12.  In each of the 3 paragraphs, identify ONE thing you plan to change or improve upon in your Historical Fiction story.  Underline the specific element that you will change.  Example: "I plan to add more detail to the setting of my story.  I will do this by adding......"
