Kevin Pyle Workshop students: 

Think of a scene to introduce your character, setting and situation. Keep in mind what the reader needs to know in order to understand what happens next in the story.
At what point in the character's life does the story begin? Write a 150 word paragraph to explain your plan and begin the drawing phase as well. 

8th Grade:

• The final "Force of Change" poetry project is due on Friday, Nov 14 (all parts glued, mounted). 
• Common Core Ready Lesson 17 is Due Monday, November 17. 

7th Grade: 

• See above for all classes
• Complete the primary source reading activity in which you got the chance to read Eleanor Roosevelt's writing!  Remember to include notes on the back of the form. 
• Common Core Ready Lesson #1 is due on Monday! 

6th Grade: 

• Using your Peer Edit conference form and last night's homework, (three paragraphs in which you described the changes you will make on your final draft of the historical fiction story) continue the revision and editing of your story.  The final copy is due on Friday, November 14!
