8th Grade:

• Anne Frank:
• Read pp. 1-49 and complete one reflection chart. Begin working on the writing assignments listed on the diary entry chart, listing the required entries.  You are required to complete 3 of the assignments. 
• Blended Poem, mounted, with picture due Tuesday, 1/13. Must submit the pre-writing in order to receive full credit for this assignment. 

7th Grade: 

• See above for all classes
• The Outsiders:  Read Ch. 1-2 in the novel. Complete two of the DISCUSSION QUESTIONS, listed on p. 11 of the Outsiders Study Guide packet. All questions must be typed, 100 words minimum for each question.  
• Bring your rough draft and peer edits to class everyday! The final copy is due on Thursday, Jan 15!

6th Grade: 

• See above for all classes 
• Chew on This: 
• Read "Your Way " and complete related questions and vocabulary log due Tuesday, Jan 12.  Completed vocabulary log is due Wednesday.  Check your answers with your team members and make sure your log is up to date as soon as possible. The unit test on the entire book is scheduled for this week so begin reviewing the main idea and key points of each chapter.
