All Classes:
  • Vocabulary Lesson 16 due Tues., 1/13
  • Vocab Test Lessons 15&16 on Thurs., 1/15 
  • Study Island:  Lessons due every Wednesday 
  • ** Read Self-Selected novel at least 90 minutes per week** 
8th Grade:
  • See above for all classes 
  • Read the Milgram article and complete the Cornell notes for this article. 
  • Anne Frank:
    • Begin working on the writing assignments listed on the diary entry chart, (list of the required reading entries)  You are required to complete 3 of the writing assignments by the time we finish reading this book (approximately 3 weeks from now) 

7th Grade: 
  • See above for all classes
  • Please work on your WM revisions, based upon your observations in class today.  Remember, your revisions should include changes to the content and structure of your paper. Add transitions please!  Spelling, punctuation and grammar are part of the final editing process, not part of the revision process.  Tomorrow, please bring your REVISED paper to class along with the first draft and all other work.  
  • Final Draft of Wax Museum paper due tomorrow January 15.  Please staple the final copy to the top, provide all peer edit and self-evaluation forms, outline, Works Cited page, Cover Page
6th Grade: 
  • See above for all classes 
  • Chew on This:
    • Continue revising our chapter questions to reflect your complete KNOWLEDGE of the chapter.  Your responses should include multiple examples of specific information from the book, directly quoted and cited with the page numbers! Remember, your responses should prove that you understand what you've read. 
    • Your completed vocabulary log and all chapter questions are due Wednesday, January 21.  See above to review expectations.
