All Classes:
  • Vocabulary Lesson 16 due Tues., 1/13
  • Vocab Test Lessons 15&16 on Thurs., 1/15 
  • Study Island:  Lessons due every Wednesday 
  • ** Read Self-Selected novel at least 90 minutes per week** 
8th Grade:
  • See above for all classes 
  • Prepare for the Compare Contrast Timed WriteComplete the graphic organizer.  
  • Anne Frank:
    • Begin working on the writing assignments listed on the diary entry chart, (list of the required reading entries)  You are required to complete 3 of the writing assignments by the time we finish reading this book (approximately 3 weeks from now) 

7th Grade: 
  • See above for all classes
  • Congratulations on the submission of your Wax Museum paper! 
  • Read Ch. 3-4 in Outsiders.  Fill in p. 14 in your study guide packet, complete two discussion questions (100 words) from p. 11.
6th Grade: 
  • See above for all classes 
  • Chew on This:
    • Study for the unit exam on Wednesday. Use the review sheet.  Review all vocabulary on your log. 
    • Continue revising your chapter questions to reflect your complete KNOWLEDGE of the chapter.  Your responses should include multiple examples of specific information from the book, directly quoted and cited with the page numbers! Remember, your responses should prove that you understand what you've read. 
    • Your completed vocabulary log and all chapter questions are due Wednesday, January 21.  See above to review expectations.
