  • Check your incoming GoogleDrive folder, and fill in your thesis statement in the document entitled "8th Grade Research Thesis Statements. REQUIRED AND PAST DUE!! LAST DAY FOR POINTS!
  • Fill in all of the the source cards for Sources #3 and #4 in the bright pink research/notetaking packet by Friday, February 20. Take detailed notes:

7th Grade: 
  • See above for all classes
  • Review all sources provided to you for tomorrow's timed essay.  This essay is designed to be a compare/contrast of the information you gather from all four sources.  You must read an article and view two videos tonight.  The links to the videos are provided on the yellow writing task assignment page.  Take detailed notes on the sources.  What are they all saying in common ( about gangs) ? What have you learned? 
6th Grade:

  • Complete pp. 1-2 on Central Idea (Slavery Sources) from Scholastic tonight! 
  • All students who did not turn in their research papers today are past due(10% late penalty will be applied) Please review the rubric to ensure that your paper is completely in line with the expectations.
