All grades: The vocabulary test on Lessons 23 & 24 is this Thursday, March 26.
8th Grade:
- Please bring in your film permission form for "The Murder of Emmett Till" by tomorrow.
- Work ahead on your Instagram Project. This project is due at the end of the period on Thursday.
- Read Ch. 4-7 in TKAM by Friday. Continue filling in the character chart.
- Finish reading "Dark they Were and Golden Eyed". Complete the comprehension questions in complete sentences. Print it and bring it to class.
- Begin to brainstorm for your Science Fiction narrative and fill in the graphic organizer (pre-write) by Tuesday, April 7.
- Make sure you have your Family Tree in class tomorrow.
- Complete the Mythology Webquest on Mythweb.com by Thursday, March 26.
- Read Ch. 1 in "Tales of the Greek Heroes".
- Print a color symbol for each member of your immediate family. This symbol should reflect the description of that person (Example: "Dad: God of Fun" a symbol might be a picture of a party hat) These photos should be about 4 X6 inches each. Bring the photos to class tomorrow. You will be creating a poster with these images.
- Overdue: Complete the family tree mythology assignment posted on Google Classroom. Type your ideas into the template and be creative and decorative! Think about what each person in your immediate family is most known for....be positive....this is meant to be fun and cool. Print the final result and bring it to class tomorrow.
