8th Grade:

• You must complete pp. 21-25 in the Poetry packet "I Too Sing America by Langston Hughes.
• Print out your literary analysis essay and attach it to your prewriting. PAST DUE!

7th Grade: 

• Read Section 3 "The Circuit'.  Complete one reflection question below each chart for the assigned readings. Write your answer below the chart. Fill the white space.  Also, provide an explanation of each vocabulary phrase as it appears in the text.  Why are these words/phrases important to an overall understanding of what you are reading?
• Read Section 3 by Wednesday, May 6
• Read Section 4 by Friday, May 8

6th grade:  

• Complete pp. 5-6 in the poetry packet (your original examples of figurative language)
• Print all chapter questions from "Tale of the Greek Heroes" and staple the entire packet together. This assignment will be graded and is due on Monday, May 4.
