All grades:  The "End of Year" PARCC Assessment dates: 

• Grade 6:  Two days of ELA testing in Reading Comprehension and Text Analysis. May 11 & 12
• Grade 7/8:  Two days of ELA testing in Reading Comprehension and Text Analysis. May 18 & 19

No vocabulary until AFTER PARCC testing! 

8th Grade:

• No homework, but review the previous posts to ensure that you are up to date with all recent assignments!

7th Grade: 

• Read Section 4 "The Circuit'.  Complete one reflection question below each chart for the assigned readings. Write your answer below the chart. Fill the white space.  Also, provide an explanation of each vocabulary phrase as it appears in the text.  Why are these words/phrases important to an overall understanding of what you are reading?

6th grade:  

• Read and review the poems again. Complete all margin notes for "Village Blacksmith" and "Sea Fever".  Be prepared for an assessment on these two poems.
