Membean Vocabulary:

• Print your first dashboard and bring it to class every Tuesday.  Log at least 30 minutes ( 3 sessions of 10 minutes each is best) in training.   The first Membean quiz is scheduled  on Thurs., Sept 22., in class only!  

 8th Grade:

• Complete the Ink Blot Poetry Project. Print or create an inkblot.  Brainstorm and save your pre-writing.  Type your poem and attach the inkblot, pre-writing, and final copy of the poem.  Due Thursday, September 24.
• Film Reflection & Notetaking Attached "Best Boy" due Friday, Sept. 25.

7th Grade: 

• Complete your First Impressions Project. Attach the rubric to your completed project.  Deadline:  Fri. Sept 25.  If you prefer, you may use Glogster.Edu for your project, see directions above. 
• Refer to your reading schedule for The Dressmaker of Khair Khana deadlines (KK).  
• All "Comprehension and Understanding" questions are due on the chapter due date. (Ch. 1 due Friday, Sept. 25) Write in complete sentences.  No credit will be given for incomplete notes in your responses.  

6th Grade: 

• pp. 3, 6 & 7 in the "Good Deed" resource packet. 
• Scholastic Scope is our middle school magazine subscription. Homework Assignment:  Scholastic Scope, posted on Google Classroom: due Thursday, Sept 24. 
• You must log-in to Scholastic Scope and locate the September 2015 issue.  Read "The Golden Lie" in this issue.  Use "GrimaldiBest1" for your classroom password to log into Scope.
