- Print your first dashboard and bring it to class every Tuesday. Log at least 45 minutes ( 3 sessions of 15 minutes each is best) in practice. DO NOT TAKE QUIZZES AT HOME. Quizzes are taken in class only. Quizzes completed at home will NOT COUNT. The first quiz is scheduled for Thursday, September 22.
- Complete the Ink Blot Poetry Project this weekend. Print or create an inkblot. Brainstorm and save your pre-writing. Type your poem and attach the inkblot, pre-writing, and final copy of the poem. Due Thursday, September 24.
- Film Reflection & Notes "Best Boy" due Friday, Sept. 25.
- Type and print the first draft of your First Impressions Project. Bring it to class. Review the instructions for the completed project. If you prefer, use Glogster.Edu for your project, see directions above.
- Review "Seventh Grade" by Gary Soto, and the definitions for: "Types of Genre" , "Plot Stages" and "Conflict" in Fiction.
- Review "The School Play" in the online textbook. Review the definitions for the stages of the plot in a work of fiction (p. 1 of the packet)
- Scholastic Scope HW, posted on Google Classroom, is due Thursday, Sept 24. You must log-in to Scholastic Scope. Use "GrimaldiBest1" for your classroom password.
