8th Grade:

• Please read "The Cask of Amontillado" (don't forget the margin notes!)

• Create Poe's epitaph and tombstone by Wednesday.  An alternate writing assignment is possible on an approved topic related to the death and burial of Edgar Allen Poe. 

7th Grade: 

• Study the map points of interest from the review sheet and memorize the geography of the region described in this book. (see p. 10 in the study guide) Be prepared to map a blank map.
