8th Grade:

• Review "The Black Cat" to prepare for the reading quiz on Monday. 
• Create Poe's epitaph and tombstone by Wednesday.  An alternate writing assignment is possible on an approved topic related to the death and burial of Edgar Allen Poe. 

7th Grade: 

• Please finish reading DMKK.  
• Create a timeline of at least 8 important events from this book.  Plot the events on a sheet of plain printer paper, horizontally. Name each event. If you want to get "artsy", color it in and decorate it! 
• Preview the review sheet for the unit study of DMKK.
• DMKK Test: Tuesday, October 20. 

6th Grade: 

• Select a book for the Book Talk Project by Wed. Oct 20. 
• Revise your "Freak the Mighty Literary Essay" Group 1 by Thurs. Oct. 22 or Group 2 by Friday, Oct 23.
