8th Grade:

• Read "Raymond's Run" complete pp. 29, 35-36 in the guided reading packet. 

7th Grade: 

• Read "Malala the Powerful" and complete the "During Reading" plus "Malala's Big Ideas" from the handout.
• Refer to your reading schedule for The Dressmaker of Khair Khana deadlines (KK).  (Ch. 5 due Wed.)  "Comprehension and Understanding" questions are due on the chapter due date.  Write in complete sentences.  

6th Grade: 

• Read Ch. 15-20 in Freak the Mighty by Wed., October 7.  You may read ahead.  Plan to read the entire book by Friday, October 9.
